KAYZA Hydric 6

The 2022 KAYZA Hydric 6 is a versatile e-bike available for €2,949. It is fitted with a powerful 4th-generation BOSCH mid-drive motor, the ‘Performance CX’ model, which operates at a voltage of 36 V and a power output of 250 W. The accompanying BOSCH “Powertube 500” battery, a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures reliable and long-lasting assistance over long distances. The BOSCH “Purion” display offers four assistance levels as well as a push assist, making the e-bike particularly user-friendly to operate.

Braking performance is provided by the Tektro HD-M280 brakes, which, together with the 180 mm front brake discs, ensure reliable deceleration. The bike is fitted with the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M5120” rear derailleur, whilst the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M4100” shift levers ensure precise gear changes. The RST Blaze ML 27.5" fork, with 120 mm of travel and Boost standard, offers a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain.

The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC “e10S” chain, and the SHIMANO “CS-M4100” cassette, with a range of 11–46 teeth, offers a wide variety of gear ratios. The Miranda Gen.4 crankset, with a length of 170 mm, and the BOSCH bottom bracket contribute to the efficiency and durability of the drivetrain.

The bike is fitted with an HL “MTB-320” aluminium handlebar, 720 mm wide, and HERRMANS “Grit” grips, which ensure comfortable handling. The stem is an HL “TDS-C507” with a length of 90 mm. The rims are KAYZA hollow-section “X17” disc models, which, together with the SCHWALBE “Smart Sam” tyres in size 60-584, ensure excellent stability and traction.

The hubs are SHIMANO models: the “HB-MT400” QR at the front and the “FH-MT400” QR at the rear, both renowned for their reliability. The black Niro spokes further ensure a robust wheel construction. The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo” saddle, combined with the PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost with a diameter of 30.4 mm, offers comfort on long rides. The package is rounded off by the VP “VPE-506” pedals and the Bosch 2 Ah charger, which enables the battery to be charged quickly and efficiently. The KAYZA Hydric 6 is therefore a well-equipped e-bike for discerning riders who value quality and performance.
