KAYZA Alvar 4

The 2022 KAYZA Alvar 4 is a bike model that stands out for its well-balanced features and attractive value for money. Priced at 699 EUR, it offers a solid combination of functionality and quality, making it suitable for both everyday use and the occasional adventure.

The Alvar 4’s brakes are fitted with the SHIMANO ‘EF505’ system, which, in conjunction with the SHIMANO ‘ST-EF505’ brake levers, ensures reliable and precise braking performance. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring effective deceleration. The gear system is provided by the SHIMANO “Acera” groupset, whilst the gear levers are also the SHIMANO “ST-EF505” model. The SHIMANO “FD-TY710” front derailleur ensures a smooth gear-changing experience.

Riding comfort is ensured by the SUNTOUR “NEX DS 700” fork with 63 mm of travel, which absorbs bumps on the road or off-road. The VP “BC73 C” bottom bracket and the SHIMANO “HG200-8” sprocket contribute to the efficiency of the drivetrain, which is complemented by the KMC Z8.1 chain.

The aluminium HL “MTB-153” handlebars, with a width of 660 mm, offer stable and comfortable handling, whilst the VELO “VLG-1115” grips ensure a secure grip. The HL TDS-C507-8FOV stem in black blends seamlessly into the bike’s overall design.

The rims are KAYZA “X2” hollow-chamber rims, which, in combination with the SCHWALBE “G-ONE Bite” Performance tyres with bronze-coloured sidewalls in size 45-622, ensure good traction and durability. The hubs, both front and rear, are SHIMANO “TX505” with 32 spoke holes in black, complemented by black stainless steel spokes.

The CROSS “Corex” saddle offers comfort even on longer rides, whilst the PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost, with a diameter of 27.2 mm, provides the necessary stability. Overall, the KAYZA Alvar 4 is a well-designed and reliable bike model that is equipped for a wide range of uses.
