The 2023 Kalkhoff IMAGE 7.B EXCITE+ is a versatile and high-performance e-bike, positioned in the premium segment with a price tag of 5,599 euros. The frame is made from robust Integrale 1.6 aluminium and provides a stable base for a maximum load of up to 170 kg.

The necessary braking power is provided by Tektro T535 hydraulic disc brakes with four pistons, which ensure reliable deceleration. The Enviolo Trekking gear system and its corresponding gear lever offer infinitely variable gear ratio adjustment, which is particularly advantageous in urban environments and on inclines.

The Suntour Mobie25 Air suspension fork, with 75 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. The Supernova E3 Mini 2 front light and the Spanninga Pimento rear light ensure good visibility in low-light conditions.

Other features include comfortable pedals with anti-slip protection and reflectors, an aluminium crankset, and the Gates Carbondrive CDX drive system with sprocket, which is renowned for its durability and low maintenance requirements. The Concept EX Ergo Riser handlebars and the adjustable Concept EX stem, measuring 80 mm in length, provide an ergonomic riding position.
