The “IMAGE 5.B SEASON” model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2021, is a versatile e-bike characterised by a well-thought-out combination of technology and comfort. The frame is made from robust Integrale 0.5 aluminium, which gives the bike stability and durability. Safety is ensured by the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which offer reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from the Shimano MT200 range, ensuring the brake components integrate seamlessly.

The e-bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed gear system, operated via the corresponding gear lever, ensuring smooth and precise gear changes. The SR Suntour NEX E25 HLO fork, with 50 mm of travel and a lockout function, offers additional comfort on uneven terrain. The lighting comprises a Herrmans H-Black MR4 LED front light and a Herrmans H-Trace LED rear light to ensure good visibility in the dark.

The Kalkhoff IMAGE 5.B SEASON features comfortable pedals with anti-slip protection and reflectors, as well as a 170 mm aluminium crankset. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1 EPT chain with an anti-rust coating. The Concept EX Ergo Riser handlebars and Herrmans Click grips contribute to ergonomic handling. The adjustable Concept EX stem, measuring 100 mm in length, allows for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The Concept rims with eyelets and Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres in size 47-622 provide robust and reliable tyres for a variety of riding conditions. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano TX505 QR and the rear with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub, supported by durable stainless steel spokes. The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle, combined with the patented suspension seatpost, ensures additional comfort on longer rides.

Practical features such as plastic mudguards with edge protection, an aluminium touring luggage rack and the Bosch Active Line Plus motor (36 V / 250 W / 50 Nm) round off the overall package. The powerful Li-ion battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, enables long rides without frequent recharging. The Bosch Intuvia LCD display, featuring a control panel and pedal assist, offers simple control and a clear overview of all key information whilst riding.
