The 2023 Kalkhoff IMAGE 5.B EXCITE+ BLX is a versatile e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and is designated Integrale 0.6. It is designed for a maximum permissible weight of up to 170 kg, making it robust and durable. The brakes are Tektro T535 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Enviolo Trekking System, known for its stepless adjustment, and are controlled via the Enviolo Trekking shifter.

The Suntour Mobie34 Air fork, with 80 mm of travel and a 15 mm thru-axle, ensures comfort on uneven roads. The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line Smart System motor with 36 V, 250 W and 75 Nm of torque. The battery is a lithium-ion model with a capacity of 625 Wh, which, in conjunction with the Bosch Intuvia 100 display and LED remote control, enables intuitive operation. The bike’s geometry offers a reach of 395 mm and a stack of 660 mm, which, together with other dimensions such as a seat tube length of 430 mm and a top tube length of 597 mm, results in well-balanced riding dynamics.
