The "IMAGE 3. B EXCITE" model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike equipped with a wide range of technical features and components that offer both comfort and performance. The frame is made from robust Integrale 0.1 series aluminium, which gives the bike a solid foundation. Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure reliable and precise braking.

The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 5-speed system which, together with the gear lever from the same manufacturer, enables smooth and easy gear changes. The SR Suntour NEX E25 HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort by effectively absorbing bumps in the road.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with Herrmans LED lights: an H-Black MR4 front light and an H-Trace rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety in low-light conditions. The pedals are made of aluminium and offer comfort on every ride. The rims are Concept SDR light and the tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus in size 50-622, ensuring a stable and safe ride.

The front hub is a Shimano TX505 with a quick-release mechanism and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus with 5 speeds. The spokes are made of stainless steel, which increases their durability. The Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle, together with a suspension-equipped patented seatpost, offers additional comfort on longer rides.

The bike is also fitted with practical plastic mudguards with edge protection, as well as a sturdy aluminium luggage rack for carrying bags or shopping. The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line motor with 36 V, 250 W and a torque of 65 Nm. The accompanying battery has a capacity of 500 Wh, which enables a decent range. The Bosch Intuvia LCD display, complete with control unit and pedal assist, provides the rider with all the key information at a glance.
