The 2021 “IMAGE 3. B ADVANCE” model from Kalkhoff is a versatile e-bike that impresses with a wide range of features and solid technical specifications. The frame is made from Integrale 0.1 aluminium, which gives the bike stability and lightness. Braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brake system, which is fitted to both the brakes and the brake levers. The bike is equipped with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed system, operated via a dedicated gear lever.

The SR Suntour NEX E25 HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR4 LED front light and the Herrmans H-Trace LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The pedals are made of aluminium and offer comfort whilst cycling.

Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1 EPT chain with a special anti-rust coating. The handlebars are made of aluminium and feature a touring-style design, whilst the Ergon GC10 grips provide additional comfort. The adjustable aluminium stem is 90 mm long and allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The Concept SDR light rims are fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres (50-622), which ensure good road holding.

The front hub is fitted with a Shimano TX505 QR, and the rear with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, complemented by stainless steel spokes. The saddle is the Selle Royal Essenza Plus model, mounted on a suspension seatpost, which further enhances riding comfort. Plastic mudguards with edge protection and an aluminium touring luggage rack complete the specification.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line motor with an output of 36 V / 250 W and a torque of 65 Nm. The battery is a high-performance lithium-ion type with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia LCD display, featuring a control panel and Walk Assist, offers intuitive control and information whilst riding. Priced at 2999 EUR, this model offers excellent value for money for a well-equipped e-bike.
