The “IMAGE 1.B EXCITE” model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2023, is a well-designed e-bike that performs well both in the city and on longer rides. Priced at 3,499 EUR, it offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical features. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and is designed as an E-Comfort frame, resulting in a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg. The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, which is characterised by its ease of use and low maintenance. The gear lever is also from Shimano Nexus and offers intuitive handling.
