Kalkhoff ENTICE LITE

The “ENTICE LITE” model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2023, is a versatile trekking bike that impresses with its robust construction and carefully selected components. The frame is made from Trekking 1.6 series aluminium and provides a solid foundation for rides across a wide variety of terrain. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the bike is suitable for a wide range of riders and also offers ample space for extra luggage.

The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, with 180 mm front and 160 mm rear rotors, ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. For gear changes, the bike is fitted with an 18-speed Shimano Alivio groupset, supported by Shimano Acera shift levers. This combination enables precise gear changes and good adaptation to different route profiles.

The rigid aluminium fork contributes to the bike’s stability and reduces its overall weight. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR4 LED front light and the Herrmans H-Trace LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The bike is fitted with RODI TRYP25 rims and Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, which ensure good traction and durability. The hubs consist of a Shimano DH-3D37 hub dynamo at the front and a Shimano TX505 hub at the rear, both fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms. The stainless steel spokes contribute to the stability of the wheels.

A Selle Royal Vivo saddle mounted on a Magix aluminium seatpost ensures comfort, whilst plastic mudguards with edge protection shield against splashes. The aluminium luggage rack with Snap-IT system offers practical transport options.

With technical dimensions such as a reach of 411 mm, a stack of 649 mm and a seat tube length of 600 mm, the bike is designed for a comfortable riding position. The head tube angle is 70 degrees and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees, resulting in well-balanced geometry. Other dimensions, such as the top tube length of 609 mm, the head tube length of 220 mm and the chainstay length of 455 mm, contribute to the bike’s stability and agility. The wheelbase of 1122 mm ensures stable handling.
