IXGO MXF-E THREE

The IXGO MXF-E THREE, launched in 2024, is a modern e-bike that stands out for its high-quality features and well-thought-out design. Priced at 4899 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features suitable for both everyday use and more demanding tours. The diamond-shaped frame ensures stability and robustness, whilst the maximum load capacity of 150 kg and the kerb weight of 27 kg underline the bike’s versatility and load-bearing capacity.

The braking system is fitted with Shimano components, featuring a BR-MT420 4-piston brake at the front and a BR-MT410 brake at the rear. The matching BL-MT401 brake levers ensure precise control. The brake discs have a diameter of 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, ensuring powerful and reliable braking performance. A Shimano Cues SL-U6000-10R shifter is used for gear changes, which, together with a 10-speed cassette (11–48 teeth), offers a wide range of gear ratios.

The suspension consists of a Suntour Raidon 34 fork with 120 mm of travel and a Suntour Edge LOR shock absorber, also with 120 mm of travel, ensuring comfort on a wide variety of terrain. Lighting is provided by a Litemove AE-130 front light with 130 lux and a Matrix battery-powered rear light, ensuring safety in the dark.

The MXF-E THREE’s drive system is based on the Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The energy-efficient PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 750 Wh, combined with the Bosch Purion 200 display, ensures intuitive control and long ranges. The 4 A charger enables rapid recharging.

The bike features a robust Matrix MTB handlebar, 760 mm wide with a 35 mm rise, combined with a 50 mm Matrix MTB stem. The wheels are fitted with Mach1 Trucky 30 rims and Schwalbe tyres (Magic Mary EVO at the front, Big Betty EVO at the rear), which provide excellent grip. The Shimano hubs are fitted with thru-axles, which increase stability.

The Selle Italia X3 e-bike saddle, combined with the King Shock Rage-I seatpost – which offers 150 mm of adjustment – provides comfort and adaptability. Further details, such as the KMC eGlide E500 EPT chain and the Matrix Kapa crankset with 34 teeth, contribute to the drivetrain’s efficiency.

With a geometry comprising a reach of 450 mm, a stack of 665 mm and a wheelbase of 1233 mm, the IXGO MXF-E THREE offers balanced handling. The 67-degree head tube angle and 76-degree seat tube angle support a comfortable riding position, whilst the 468 mm chainstay length ensures stability. All in all, the MXF-E THREE is a well-designed e-bike that performs impressively both in the city and off the beaten track.
