IXGO MX THREE

The “MX THREE” model from the IXGO brand, launched in 2024, is a versatile bike priced at 779 EUR. The MX THREE’s diamond frame is designed for a maximum load of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 14 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust choice.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT 200 brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, in combination with Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm; both are Shimano SM-RT26 models with a 6-bolt mounting. Shifting is controlled via a Microshift TS39-8 shifter, which enables 8-speed shifting. The front derailleur is also from MICROSHIFT, model FD-M20, and, together with the Matrix crankset (TCSH4-SMA) featuring 42/34/24 teeth, offers a total of 24 gears.

The Suntour XM 32 RL DS fork offers 100 mm of travel, ensuring comfortable suspension on uneven terrain. The Matrix FP-803ZU pedals and the drivetrain with the KMC Z8 chain complete the drivetrain. The Matrix handlebars (MTB-AL-320BT) are 740 mm wide with a 9-degree bend and a 7 mm rise, enabling comfortable and controlled steering. The stem is also from Matrix (TDS-C301-8FOV) and is SP Connect-ready, allowing for easy integration of accessories.

The rims are Mach1 CROSS-R 23, each with 32 holes at both the front and rear. The Maxxis Rekon Race M355P tyres in the Tanwall version ensure good grip and durability. The front hub is a Matrix KT-K68F and the rear a Matrix KT-K57R, both with quick-release axles and 6-hole mounting. The black Sapim spokes complete the bike’s setup.

The saddle is a Selle Italia X Superflow model, mounted on a Matrix seatpost (SP-C255) with a diameter of 30.9 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 435 mm, a stack of 614 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm and a top tube length of 611 mm. The head tube angle is 68 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. The head tube is 100 mm long with an additional 30 mm spacer. The chainstay length is 450 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 65 mm. The fork offset is 46 mm and the crank length is 170 mm. The MX THREE’s wheelbase measures 1157 mm in total.
