IXGO MTF-E FOUR

The MTF-E FOUR from IXGO, launched in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike which, at a price of 5099 EUR, represents an attractive option for keen cyclists. The bike’s frame is designed in the classic diamond shape and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 29 kg. The braking system features a Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston brake at the front, whilst a Shimano BR-MT410 is fitted at the rear. These are complemented by Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers. The front brake discs have a diameter of 203 mm and the rear ones 180 mm; both are fitted with the Centre Lock system.

The drivetrain is controlled by a Shimano Cues SL-U6000-10R shifter, which enables 10-speed gear shifting. The Suntour Raidon 34 fork, with 120 mm of travel, and the Suntour Edge LOR rear shock ensure excellent ride comfort and stability on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Litemove AE-130 front light with high-beam function and 130 lux, as well as the integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light.

The bike is fitted with platform pedals from VP and features a Matrix Kapa crankset with 34 teeth. The Shimano cassette offers a range of 11–48 teeth. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC eGlide E500 EPT chain. The handlebars are a Matrix MTB model with a width of 760 mm, a rise of 35 mm and a backsweep of 5 degrees. The grips are from Herrmans and are of the Rib single lock type. The stem is also by Matrix, measures 50 mm in length and has a 0-degree angle.

The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30 models, each with 32 spoke holes, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in size 65-622. The hubs are Shimano HB-TC500-15B at the front and FH-TC500-HM-B at the rear, both with thru-axles and Centre Lock. The saddle is a Selle Royal Explora Moderate, mounted on a Kind Shock Rage-I seatpost with 125 mm of adjustment.

Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm, combined with a PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. Control is via the Bosch Kiox 300 display with LED remote. The charger delivers a current of 4 A.

In terms of geometry, the MTF-E FOUR offers a reach of 485 mm and a stack of 667 mm. The seat tube length is 520 mm, whilst the top tube length is 678 mm. The head tube angle is set at 65 degrees, and the seat tube angle at 76 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 160 mm, 10 mm spacers, a chainstay length of 449 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 25 mm, a fork offset of 51 mm, a crank length of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1290 mm. The MTF-E FOUR is therefore a well-equipped e-bike that performs impressively both in urban environments and on more challenging routes.
