IXGO MT FOUR

The "MT FOUR" model from IXGO, released in 2024, is a versatile bicycle that offers good value for money at a price of 699 EUR. The bike’s frame has a trapezoidal design, which not only gives it a modern look but also provides stability and comfort. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 16 kg, it is robust enough to cope with everyday demands.

The bike is fitted with a reliable braking system. Tektro 885AL V-brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, complemented by Shimano ST-TX800LB brake levers. This combination ensures safe and effective braking performance. The MT FOUR’s drivetrain is supported by a Shimano ST-TX800LB shifter and a Shimano Tourney FD-TY600 front derailleur, which, together with the Shimano FC-TY501 crankset and the Shimano ACSHG2007 cassette, enable precise shifting across 24 gears.

The HL 565AMS fork, with 100 mm of travel, offers comfortable suspension that effectively absorbs bumps on the route. Lighting is provided by the Matrix Sport Eco LED front light (20 LUX) and the Matrix Z-Fire Mini rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The bike is fitted with Matrix FP-803ZU pedals, which provide a secure grip whilst pedalling.

The MT FOUR’s handlebars are the Matrix MTB-AL-320BT, with a width of 680 mm and a 9-degree backsweep, which allows for a comfortable hand position. The stem is the Matrix TDS-D602, which is SP Connect-ready, offering additional flexibility when fitting accessories. The headset is semi-integrated and tapered, contributing to stability and steering precision.

The bike is fitted with Mach1 ER-10 rims, each with 32 holes, which, in combination with the Kenda K-1168 tyres, ensure reliable performance. The hubs are by Shimano; the front hub, ADHC30003, features an integrated hub dynamo, whilst the rear hub, FH-TX5008-QR, is fitted with a quick-release axle. The black Sapim spokes contribute to the bike’s overall aesthetic.

Riding comfort is ensured by the Matrix D070 saddle in combination with the Matrix SP-C255 seatpost. The bike is also fitted with practical Matrix clip-on mudguards and a chain guard to protect the rider from dirt. An Atran Velo Parko stand makes it easy to park the bike. Overall, the IXGO MT FOUR offers a well-balanced package of features and performance for leisure and everyday riders.
