IXGO MT FIVE

The “MT FIVE” model from IXGO, launched in 2024, is a versatile bicycle that offers excellent value for money at a price of 799 euros. The bike’s robust diamond frame contributes to a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg, making it a reliable companion for a wide variety of rides.

The MT FIVE is fitted with high-quality Shimano brakes. Shimano BR-MT 200 brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs are also from Shimano – model SM-RT10 – featuring a Centre Lock mechanism and a diameter of 160 mm, ensuring reliable braking performance.

For gear shifting, the MT FIVE offers a total of 27 gears, operated via the Shimano SL-U40009RC shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Cues FD-U4010, and the crankset consists of a Shimano FC-U4010 with 46x30 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano ACSLG3009 with 11–36 teeth, allowing for flexible adaptation to different types of terrain. The drivetrain is powered by a Shimano CN-LG500 chain.

The bike’s fork is an HL 565AMS with 100 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The lighting comprises a Matrix Sport Eco LED front light with 20 LUX and a Matrix Z-Fire Mini rear light, which ensure safety on the road.

Other features include Matrix FP-803ZU pedals, a Matrix MTB-AL-320BT handlebar with a width of 640 mm, a backsweep of 9 and a rise of 23. The grips are Matrix VLG-1820-11D2, and the stem is a Matrix TDS-D494, which is SP Connect-ready. The headset is semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Mach1 ER-20 with 32 holes, whilst the tyres are Kenda K-1027s. The hubs are also from Shimano: an ADH3D37 hub dynamo at the front and an FH-TX5058-QR quick-release hub at the rear, both with 32 holes. The spokes are black and made by Sapim.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Mach 655 model, mounted on a Matrix SP-C255 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm. The bike is also fitted with Matrix clip-on mudguards and a chain guard. An Atran Velo Parko bike stand completes the package and ensures the bike stands securely.
