IXGO MT-E FIVE

The 2024 IXGO MT-E FIVE model is a versatile e-bike, priced at 4,699 EUR, which sits in the mid-to-high price range. The Wave frame gives the bike a modern design and allows for a maximum permissible weight of up to 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg.

The braking system consists of high-quality Magura components, fitted with ABS CT-E STOP Allroad at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake discs measure 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, both featuring a 6-hole design. The Shimano Cues SL-U6000-10R shifter is used for gear changes, allowing precise control of the 10 gears.

The Suntour Mobie 34 LOR fork offers 80 mm of travel and is fitted with an ABS mount, which enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain. The lighting comprises a Litemove RX-E90 front light with high-beam function and 90 lux, as well as an integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, which ensures good visibility.

The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-823 aluminium pedals and features a Matrix Delta crankset with 38 teeth. The Shimano Cues cassette offers a range of 11–43 teeth. The drivetrain is supported by the KMC eGlide E500 EPT chain.

The MT-E FIVE’s handlebars are a Matrix Ergo model with a width of 660 mm, a rise of 7 mm and a bend of 30 degrees, which allows for an ergonomic hand position. The grips are Herrmans DD36 Ergo. The angle-adjustable stem is 90 mm long and is SP Connect-ready.

The wheelsets consist of Mach1 Cross-R27 rims fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in Bronze Skin. The hubs are Matrix HB15 and FH15 models with thru-axles and 6-bolt mounting. The black DT Factory spokes complete the wheelset.

Riding comfort is ensured by the Selle Royal Explora saddle in combination with the Kind Shock Rage-I seatpost, which offers 100 mm of Vario adjustment. Aluminium mudguards and an SKS Chainblade chain guard provide additional protection against dirt and wet conditions.

Power is provided by the Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor, which delivers 250 W of power and 85 Nm of torque. The integrated PowerTube battery has a capacity of 750 Wh, supported by a Bosch Kiox 300 display and a 4 A charger.

The bike’s geometry is carefully designed, with a reach of 422 mm, a stack of 695 mm and a wheelbase of 1165 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees, enabling a balanced riding position. The chainstay length is 465 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 65 mm. These technical specifications make the IXGO MT-E FIVE a robust and high-performance e-bike suitable for a wide range of uses.
