IXGO CT TWO

The 2024 ‘CT TWO’ model from IXGO is a versatile bike that impresses with its technical features and value for money. Priced at 749 EUR, it offers a solid spec for everyday use and occasional rides. The bike’s frame features a classic diamond design and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano components, with BR-MT 200 brakes and BL-MT200 brake levers fitted at both the front and rear. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear; both are Shimano SM-RT10 models with Centre Lock mounting. The gear system is fitted with a Shimano Altus SL-M315 shifter and a Shimano Tourney FD-TY601 front derailleur, providing a total of 24 gears.

The HL fork, with 60 mm of travel, provides adequate damping on uneven terrain. In terms of lighting, the bike is fitted with a Matrix Sport Eco LED front light (20 LUX) and a Matrix Z-Fire Mini rear light. The pedals are Matrix FP-803ZU, and the drivetrain consists of a KMC Z8 chain, a Shimano FC-TY301 crankset and a Shimano CS-HG31-8 cassette.

The handlebars are Matrix MTB-AL-312, with a width of 640 mm, a back sweep of 9° and a rise of 12 mm. The stem is a Matrix HL TDS-C301 A-Head, 75 mm long with a 6-degree angle. The rims are Mach 1 ER-10 with 32 holes, fitted with Kenda K-1227 tyres. The front hub is a Shimano ADH3D37 hub dynamo and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX5058-QR quick-release hub, both also with 32 holes.

Riding comfort is ensured by a Selle Royal Shadow 8016 saddle mounted on a Matrix Sp-255 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. Mudguards from SKS Velo and an Atran Velo Parko bike stand complete the specification. The bike’s geometry is well thought out, with a reach of 407 mm, a stack of 649 mm, a seat tube length of 550 mm and a top tube length of 618 mm.

The IXGO CT TWO is therefore a well-equipped bike that is suitable for both city cycling and longer rides. It offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability at an attractive price.
