IXGO CT THREE

The 2024 IXGO CT THREE model is a versatile bicycle that stands out for its well-thought-out features and design. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The trapezoidal frame is robust and ensures that the bike can carry a maximum load of up to 130 kg, whilst weighing just 15 kg itself. The braking system consists of high-quality Shimano components; Shimano BR-MT 200 brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs are also from Shimano, with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, and are secured via the Centre Lock system.

Gear shifting is handled by a Shimano Altus SL-M315 shifter, which, in combination with a Shimano Tourney FD-TY601 front derailleur, provides a total of 24 gears. The fork is an HL 187D AMS with 60 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces. The bike is lit by a Matrix Sport Eco LED front light with 20 LUX and a Matrix Z-Fire Mini rear light. The pedals are Matrix FP-803ZU.

The drivetrain consists of a KMC Z8 system, whilst the crankset is a Shimano FC-TY801 with dimensions of 48X38X28 and a crank length of 170 mm. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31-8 with 11–32 teeth. The handlebars are Matrix MTB-AL-312, with a width of 640 mm, a back swap of 9° and a rise of 12 mm. The grips are Herrmans Shark Lock for a secure grip.

The bike is fitted with Mach 1 ER-10 rims, complemented by Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres. The hubs are by Shimano, with a hub dynamo (ADH3D37) at the front and a quick-release axle (FH-TX5058-QR) at the rear. The saddle is a Selle Royal Shadow 8016, mounted on a Matrix SP-255 seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm.

SKS Velo clip-on mudguards are fitted to protect against splash water, and an Atran Velo Parko stand ensures the bike stands securely. The bike’s geometry is well thought out, with a seat tube length of 450 mm, a top tube length of 618 mm and a head tube angle of 72 degrees. The wheelbase is 1103 mm, which ensures stability. Overall, the IXGO CT THREE offers a solid set of features for everyday use on roads and light off-road trails.
