i:SY S8 RT

The 2022 i:SY S8 RT model is a compact e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and high level of functionality. It features an original i:SY Compact frame with a height of 47 cm, designed in a unisex style. The maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 23 kg, making it a robust companion for everyday use.

Safety is ensured by SHIMANO’s hydraulic 2-piston disc brakes, model BR-MT 200, fitted to both the front and rear. The brake levers are 3-finger levers, also from SHIMANO. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a SHIMANO Nexus 8-speed hub gear with a coaster brake, operated via a Nexus Revo shifter.

The bike is fitted with an original i:SY Compact rigid fork and features high-quality lighting in the form of the FUXON FF-100HB LED front light with 100 lux and a high-beam function, as well as a COMUS COB LED rear light integrated into the luggage rack. The pedals are foldable and are made by VP Components, whilst the crankset from STRONGLIGHT has been specially designed for e-bikes.

Power is transmitted via a KMC e8 Sport EPT chain, and the handlebars are 660 mm wide with a height of 37 mm. The ergonomic ERGON GP10 grips provide additional comfort. The stem is an i:SY model, 70 mm long, paired with a SPEEDLIFTER Twist T22 with a 170 mm reach. The semi-integrated A-Head headset is tapered from 1 1/8” to 1 1/2”.

The rims are RYDE Andra 40 Disc with 32 stainless steel spokes, and the tyres are SCHWALBE Pick Up Super Defense, size 62-406. The front hub is a SHIMANO Deore HB-M6000 with Centre Lock. The saddle is a VELO Zecure with Hydro Foam in size S, mounted on an i:SY seatpost with a length of 415 mm and a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The bike is also fitted with SKS Bluemels mudguards, which are 65 mm wide, and a Horn Catena chain guard. The PLETSCHER Kickstand Comp 40 Flex ensures the bike stands securely. An Abus ISY lock set provides additional security. The luggage rack is an i:SY Carrier with a Monkey Load adapter.

The e-bike is powered by a BOSCH Active Line Plus motor with a voltage of 36 V and a power output of 250 W. The battery is a BOSCH PowerPack 500 with a capacity of 500 Wh, a voltage of 36 V and a capacity of 13.8 Ah. The BOSCH Purion display allows for easy control and monitoring of the system. The battery is charged using the BOSCH Compact Charger, which has a charging rate of 2 Ah.
