i:SY S8 F

The "S8 F" model from the i:SY brand, launched in 2023, is a well-designed and well-equipped compact e-bike, available for 3,799 euros. The bike’s frame is an original i:SY Compact 47 cm unisex frame, which supports a maximum load of 150 kg. The braking system consists of TEKTRO HD-T280 hydraulic 2-piston disc brakes with 3-finger brake levers and features a 180 mm front brake disc and a 160 mm rear brake disc, ensuring excellent braking performance.

The gear system is a SHIMANO Nexus 8-speed with a freewheel, operated via a SHIMANO Nexus Revo shifter, offering a reliable and smooth gear-changing experience. The rigid fork is also from i:SY and contributes to the bike’s stability and control. The lighting comprises a FUXON FF-100HB front light with a 100 lux LED and high beam, as well as a FUXON R-Glow S LED rear light, ensuring good visibility and safety when cycling at night.

Other features include i:SY anti-slip folding pedals, an i:SY e-bike crankset measuring 170 mm in length and a 16T sprocket. Power is transmitted via a KMC e8 Sport EPT chain, whilst the handlebars are i:SY handlebars with a 30° angle, complemented by ergonomic ERGON GC10 grips. The stem is an i:SY stem with a length of 70 mm.

The rims are RYDE Andra 40 Disc with 32 holes, fitted with SCHWALBE Pick Up Super Defense tyres in size 60-406. The hubs are SHIMANO Deore HB-M6000 with Centre Lock, connected by 32 Niro spokes with a diameter of 2.0 mm. The saddle is a ZECURE Trekking model with Hydro Foam in size L, mounted on an i:SY seatpost 415 mm long and 34.9 mm in diameter.

Other components include SKS Bluemels mudguards, 65 mm wide, a HORN Catena chain guard and a PLETSCHER Kickstand Comp40 Flex kickstand. An ABUS 4750L NR frame lock provides additional security. The luggage rack is i:SY Carrier MonkeyLoad-ready, making it highly versatile.

The S8 F is powered by a BOSCH Active Line Plus motor with 36V and 250 W of power. The battery is a BOSCH PowerPack 500 with a capacity of 500 Wh (36V, 13.8 Ah), which is controlled via the BOSCH Intuvia display. A BOSCH Compact Charger with a 2 A output is included in the scope of delivery to charge the battery efficiently. Overall, the i:SY S8 F offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality for everyday use.
