i:SY DrivE S8 ZR weiß

The “DrivE S8 ZR white” model from the i:SY brand, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The frame is made of aluminium and is specifically designed for the Bosch Belt drive. With a maximum permissible weight of 140 kg, it offers ample capacity for both rider and luggage.

The bike is fitted with SHIMANO “MT-M402” brakes and brake levers, which ensure reliable deceleration. The front brake disc is a SHIMANO “RT54” with a diameter of 180 mm, whilst the rear disc has a diameter of 160 mm; both feature a Centre Lock design. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO “Nexus” 8-speed hub gear system, which, together with the SHIMANO “Nexus” gear lever, enables precise gear selection.

The bike’s fork is made of aluminium and designed for disc brakes. Lighting is provided by the B&M “Lumotec IQ Eyc” front light, with a luminous intensity of 50 lux, and a rear light from B&M, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The UNION “SP-153” folding pedals contribute to the bike’s compact design and portability.

Power is transmitted via a GATES “Centertrack CDX” belt, combined with a STRONGLIGHT “Magan” crankset and a GATES “CDX” sprocket with 22 teeth. The handlebars are the ERGOTEC “Ladytown”, complemented by HERRMANS “Line” grips, and the stem is the ERGOTEC “Piranha 650B” with a SPEEDLIFTER “T17”, which offers 170 mm of extension.

The rims are MACH 1 “Kargo Disc”, fitted with SCHWALBE “Super Moto-X” tyres in size 62-406 for both the front and rear wheels. The front hub is a SHIMANO “Deore HB-M6000” QR and the rear hub is a SHIMANO “Nexus Disc” 8-speed RBN. The saddle is the SELLE ROYAL “Nuvola 5060” model, fitted to a CONTEC Patent seatpost.

Additional features include CURANA “C-Lite” composite mudguards, an M-TEC aluminium chain guard, a PLETSCHER “Comp 18 Flex” kickstand and a RACKTIME “Stand it Shine Evo i:SY” luggage rack with integrated light. The drive is assisted by a BOSCH “Active Plus” mid-drive motor with 36 V and a rated continuous power output of 250 W. The accompanying BOSCH lithium-ion battery offers a capacity of 500 Wh (13.88 Ah) and is operated via the BOSCH “Intuvia” display with 4 levels and a remote control.
