i:SY DrivE S8 RT grün

The "DrivE S8 RT green" model from the i:SY brand, released in 2021, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 2,899 EUR. It features a robust I:SY Bosch aluminium frame capable of supporting a maximum load of up to 140 kg. The braking system comprises MAGURA “HS22” components, which are used for both the brakes and the brake levers and deliver reliable braking performance.

The bike’s drivetrain is fitted with the SHIMANO “Nexus” 8-speed hub gear system, which enables simple and efficient gear changes. The gear lever is also from the SHIMANO “Nexus” series. The fork is made of aluminium, which contributes to a light yet stable ride. Lighting is provided by the B&M “Lumotec IQ Eyc” front light with 50 lux and a B&M rear light, ensuring good visibility in traffic.

The bike is fitted with UNION “SP-153” folding pedals, and the crankset is a STRONGLIGHT “Magan” made of aluminium with 44 teeth. The SHIMANO sprocket has 16 teeth and the drive is via a KMC “E01 EPT” chain. The handlebars are ERGOTEC “Ladytown” with a diameter of 31.8 mm, complemented by HERRMANS “Line” grips for comfortable handling.

The stem is an ERGOTEC “Piranha 650B” with a SPEEDLIFTER “T14”, offering 140 mm of reach. The headset is a VP “A42E”. The rims are MACH 1 “Kargo” and the tyres are SCHWALBE “Big Ben Plus”, size 55-406 at both the front and rear. The front hub is a SHIMANO “Deore HB-T610” and the rear hub is a SHIMANO “Nexus” 8-speed RBN, connected by stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL “Nuvola 5060”, mounted on a CONTEC Patent “Brut” aluminium seatpost measuring Ø 27.2 x 400 mm. The bike is fitted with CURANA “C-Lite” composite mudguards and a HEBIE “Chainglider” chain guard. A PLETSCHER “Comp 18 Flex” kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. The luggage rack is a RACKTIME “Stand it Shine Evo i:SY” with an integrated light.

The e-bike is powered by a BOSCH “Active” mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 W at 36 V. The battery is a BOSCH lithium-ion unit with BMS, also rated at 36 V, with a capacity of 11.11 Ah and 400 Wh, which offers a good range for everyday use. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display features a 4-level control system with remote control and push-assist to enhance riding comfort.
