The 2021 i:SY DrivE S8 in green is a versatile and well-equipped e-bike, available for 2,899 EUR. The bike’s aluminium frame is named I:SY Bosch, ensuring stability and durability. With a maximum load capacity of 140 kg, it is suitable for a wide range of riders and boasts a robust construction.

The bike is fitted with MAGURA ‘HS22’ brakes and brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The SHIMANO ‘Nexus’ 8-speed gear system and the corresponding gear lever allow for precise and easy gear selection. The aluminium fork contributes to the bike’s lightness, whilst the B&M “Lumotec IQ Eyc” front light (50 lux) and the B&M rear light ensure safety when cycling at night.

Other features include the UNION “SP-153” folding pedals, which can be easily stowed away when needed, and the BOSCH bottom bracket combined with the STRONGLIGHT “Magan” aluminium crankset with 44 teeth. The SHIMANO 16-tooth sprocket and the KMC “E01 EPT” drivetrain complete the drivetrain system.

The ERGOTEC “Ladytown” handlebars, with a diameter of 31.8 mm, and the HERRMANS “Line” grips offer comfort and control. The stem is the ERGOTEC “Piranha 650B”, also with a diameter of 31.8 mm, and features a SPEEDLIFTER “T14” with a 140 mm reach. The VP “A42E” headset completes the steering system.

The rims are MACH 1 “Kargo” and the tyres are SCHWALBE “Big Ben Plus” in size 55-406, ensuring a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces. The hubs consist of a SHIMANO “Deore HB-T610” at the front and a SHIMANO “Nexus” 8-speed LL at the rear. The spokes are made of stainless steel.

The SELLE ROYAL “Nuvola 5060” saddle, together with the CONTEC “Brut” aluminium seatpost, ensures comfort on long rides. CURANA “C-Lite” mudguards made from composite material protect against splashes, whilst the HEBIE “Chainglider” chain guard keeps the chain clean.

The PLETSCHER “Comp 18 Flex” kickstand makes it easy to park the bike, and the RACKTIME “Stand it Shine Evo i:SY” luggage rack with integrated light provides additional storage space.

The e-bike is powered by a BOSCH “Active” mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 W at 36 V. The BOSCH lithium-ion battery with BMS has a capacity of 400 Wh (11.11 Ah) and supplies the motor with power. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display, featuring 4 levels, remote control and push assist, gives the rider comprehensive control over the bike and its functions.
