The “DrivE E5 ZR grey” model from the i:SY brand, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike which, at a price of 3,599 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and is named the I:SY Bosch Belt, which reflects its robust and durable construction. With a maximum permissible weight of 140 kg, the e-bike is suitable for a wide range of riders and loads.

The braking system comprises SHIMANO “MT-M402” brakes and brake levers, complemented by SHIMANO “RT54” series brake discs, which measure 180 mm in diameter at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The gear system is a SHIMANO “Nexus” 5-speed, operated via a dedicated gear lever, which enables reliable and easy gear selection.

CURANA “C-Lite” composite mudguards provide protection against splash water, whilst an M-TEC “Aluminium Belt” chain guard covers the belt. The PLETSCHER “Comp 18 Flex” kickstand ensures stability, and the RACKTIME “Stand it Shine Evo i:SY” luggage rack with integrated light offers additional functionality.

Power is provided by a BOSCH “Performance” mid-drive motor with 36 V and a rated continuous power output of 250 W. The accompanying BOSCH lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 500 Wh (36 V, 13.88 Ah) and is controlled via a BOSCH “Intuvia” display, which offers 4 power levels, a remote control and a push assist function.
