Husqvarna E-Bicycles Towner 2 FW 2023

The "Towner 2 FW 2023" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is an e-bike available on the market at a price of 3,199 EUR. It features a robust 28-inch 6061 alloy frame capable of supporting a maximum load of 130 kg. The bike itself weighs 26 kg. Safety is ensured by Tektro HD-T280 hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston calipers at both the front and rear; the front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm, both fitted with Centre Lock.

The gear system is a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001 with 8 speeds, operated via a Revoshift lever, the Shimano Nexus SL-C6000-8. Suspension is provided by an SR SUNTOUR NEX-E25 fork with 63 mm of travel. For lighting, the Towner 2 FW is fitted with a Herrmans MR4 front light, which offers a brightness of 40 lx and 120 lm, as well as an AXA Juno E rear light.

The bike is also fitted with aluminium pedals from Husqvarna and a Miranda crankset. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1eHX EPT chain. The handlebars are Husqvarna Ergo, 700 mm wide with a 9-degree sweep, complemented by ergonomic screw-on grips and an adjustable stem. The wheels feature Mach 1 630E eyeleted rims and are fitted with Mitas Flash tyres in size 28x1.75.

The bike’s saddle is a Husqvarna model, mounted on a 31.6 mm seatpost with a quick-release clamp. Mudguards from Eurofender Tempo and a chain guard from Horn Catena 18 are also fitted. An Ursus MOOI rear stand ensures stability, whilst the Husqvarna Tour luggage rack can carry up to 25 kg.

Power is provided by a Bosch Active Line Plus motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 50 Nm, supported by a Bosch battery with a capacity of 500 Wh and a voltage of 36 V. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike. The bike’s geometry includes, amongst other things, a seat tube length of 490 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 75 degrees. The Towner 2 FW is therefore a well-equipped e-bike that combines comfort, safety and performance in an attractive package.
