Husqvarna E-Bicycles Light Cross LC2 2022

The "Light Cross LC2 2022" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, released in 2023, is a versatile e-bike available on the market at a price of 4799 EUR. It features a robust 6061 alloy frame, designed for 29/27.5-inch wheels, and offers an integrated battery and Boost technology. With 120 mm of suspension travel, the bike is suitable for both challenging trails and comfortable rides. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, ensuring high load-bearing capacity.

The braking system consists of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, with 2-piston calipers at the front and rear. The brake discs measure 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, both with Centre Lock mounting. Gear changes are handled by the Tektro RD-M350 system with nine speeds, controlled by the Tektro SL-M350R shifter.

Suspension is provided by a RockShox 35 Silver TK fork with Solo Air technology and 120 mm of travel. The rear shock is an SR SUNTOUR Raidon R, which is also air-sprung and measures 190x45 mm. The pedals are made of aluminium by Husqvarna, as is the Shimano FC-EM600 crankset, which is compatible with the Shimano EP24 drivetrain.

The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC e9S chain, whilst the Tektro CS-M350 cassette features an 11–46T range. The handlebars are Husqvarna Riser bars, 780 mm wide with a 9-degree sweep. The grips are also from Husqvarna and feature a screw-on clamp.

The bike rides on Ryde Disc30 rims, which are tubeless-ready and have eyelets. The tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Trail S models, sized 29x2.4 at the front and 27.5x2.4 at the rear. The hubs are Husqvarna DA210F at the front and DA210R at the rear, both with Centre Lock mounts and thru-axles.

The saddle is a Husqvarna MTB model, mounted on a dropper post with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The saddle is clamped using an Allen bolt with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The Light Cross LC2 is powered by the Shimano EP8 motor, delivering 250 W of power and 85 Nm of torque. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh at a voltage of 36 V. The Shimano SC-E5003 LCD display offers intuitive control of the drive system. The battery is charged using a Charger S charger with a current of 4 A.

The bike’s geometry is carefully designed, with a reach of 490 mm, a stack of 656 mm and a seat tube length of 485 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. The wheelbase measures 1250 mm in total, ensuring well-balanced riding stability.
