Husqvarna E-Bicycles Light Cross 6

The "Light Cross 6" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a high-performance e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at 3799 EUR, it offers a wide range of features suitable for both everyday use and more demanding rides. The bike’s frame is made from a 29" 6061 alloy construction, designed as an MTB hardtail with a Skeleton Interface and housing a fully integrated battery. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 22 kg.

Reliable braking performance is provided by SHIMANO BR-MT400 hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston calipers, combined with SHIMANO SM-RT56 brake discs, each with a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear. Gear changes are handled by an SRAM NX-11, 11-speed system, operated via an SRAM NX Trigger shifter. The ROCK SHOX RECON RL fork, featuring Motion Control and 120 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with VP COMPONENTS VP-E506 pedals and a HUSQVARNA crankset made from forged aluminium. The cassette consists of an SRAM NX PG-1130 with a gear ratio of 11-42T, supported by an SRAM PC1110 drive. The handlebars are a HUSQVARNA Low Rise model with a width of 720 mm and offer comfortable ergonomics thanks to a 9° back sweep and a 5° up sweep, with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The grips are HUSQVARNA Ride D2 Compound lock-on grips, which ensure a secure grip.

The wheelset consists of HQV Edition RYDE DISC35 rims with 32 spokes and a 29" diameter, complemented by SCHWALBE SMART SAM tyres in size 29x2.6. The front hub is a HUSQVARNA Pro Boost and the rear a HUSQVARNA Pro-E Boost, both Shimano-compatible and featuring a 6-bolt mount. The saddle is a HUSQVARNA MTB RDE model, mounted on a HUSQVARNA Alloy seatpost, which is available in different lengths depending on frame size.

The Light Cross 6 is powered by the SHIMANO STePS DU-E7000 motor with a torque of 60 Nm. Power is supplied by a SIMPLO battery with a capacity of 630 Wh, which is built into the frame. The SHIMANO SC-E7000 LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality for easy control and monitoring of riding parameters. Overall, the Light Cross 6 is a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
