Husqvarna E-Bicycles Hard Cross 9

The 2021 "Hard Cross 9" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for demanding enduro rides. Priced at 7,599 euros, it offers high-quality components and a robust design. The frame is made from a lightweight yet sturdy 6061 alloy construction, featuring a Full Active 4-link system and an integrated battery. The geometry is optimised for enduro riding and offers 180 mm of suspension travel. The maximum rider weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano Deore XT system, which is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes and 4-piston calipers. The brake discs each measure 203 mm and are mounted using Centre Lock. Gear changes are controlled via Shimano Deore XT Di2 technology, which offers precise 11-speed shifting. The shift lever is also part of the Di2 system.

Suspension is provided by the FOX Float 38 Factory fork with 180 mm of travel and the FOX Float X2 Factory shock. These components ensure a smooth ride over rough terrain. The pedals and crankset are made from a robust aluminium alloy, whilst the cassette offers a gear ratio of 11–46T.

Power is provided by the Shimano EP8 motor, with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The motor is powered by a Simplo TPS battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. The system is controlled via a Shimano SC-EM800 LED display, which offers ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.
