Husqvarna E-Bicycles Hard Cross 7

The "Hard Cross 7" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a high-performance e-mountain bike priced at 5199 EUR. It features a robust 27.5" 6061 alloy frame, designed for enduro riding and fitted with a Skeleton Interface. The frame fully integrates the battery and, thanks to the Full Active 4-Link system, offers 180 mm of suspension travel, making it ideally suited to challenging terrain. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst it weighs 24 kg.

The braking system consists of SHIMANO BR-MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the SHIMANO SM-RT66 front and rear brake discs, each with a diameter of 203 mm and a 6-bolt mounting, ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is provided by an SRAM NX-11 system with 11 speeds, and the shifter is an SRAM NX Trigger with X-Actuation technology.

Optimal suspension is provided by the ROCK SHOX Lyric Select RC fork with Charger RC and 180 mm of travel. The rear shock is an SR SUNTOUR TRIAir 3CR with a trunnion mount, offering 225 mm of travel. The pedals are from VP COMPONENTS, model VP-E506, whilst the crankset is a HUSQVARNA Forged Alloy version with a length of 165 mm.

The cassette is an SRAM NX, PG-1130 with a 11–42T range, and the drivetrain is powered by an SRAM PC1110 chain. Steering and handling are provided by a HUSQVARNA MTB35 low-rise handlebar, 780 mm wide, and ergonomic ERGON GA20 grips. The stem is a HUSQVARNA Alloy model, 40 mm long.

The wheels feature HQV Edition RYDE DISC35 rims with 32 spokes and a size of 27.5". The tyres are SCHWALBE MAGIC MARY Performance with Snake Skin and TLE technology, in size 27.5x2.6. The front hub is a HUSQVARNA Pro Boost and the rear hub is a HUSQVARNA Pro-E Boost, both Shimano-compatible and featuring a 6-bolt mounting.

The saddle is the HUSQVARNA ENDR RDE model and the seatpost is an aluminium HUSQVARNA Dropper Post, available in various sizes. The saddle is clamped using a HUSQVARNA QR with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The Hard Cross 7 is powered by a SHIMANO STePS DU-E8000 motor with a torque of 70 Nm. Power is supplied by a SIMPLO internal battery with a capacity of 630 Wh (36V / 17.5Ah). The display is a SHIMANO SC-E7000 LED model with ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality, enabling easy control and monitoring of the systems. This e-bike therefore offers a comprehensive range of features for demanding off-road adventures.
