Husqvarna E-Bicycles Hard Cross 6

The "Hard Cross 6" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is an e-mountain bike designed specifically for challenging enduro rides. Priced at 4699 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and robust construction. The frame is made from a 27.5-inch 6061 alloy construction, optimised for enduro use, and features a Skeleton Interface as well as a fully integrated battery. The fully active 4-link suspension system offers 180 mm of travel and ensures excellent damping on challenging descents.

The maximum rider weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg. The brakes are TEKTRO ORION 4 P hydraulic disc brakes with four pistons, fitted with 203 mm stainless steel brake discs at the front and rear. The gear system is based on SHIMANO DEORE technology, featuring an RD-M6000 rear derailleur and a 10-speed Shadow Plus system, operated by the SHIMANO DEORE Rapidfire Plus shifter.

Suspension is provided by the SR SUNTOUR DUROLUX36 air fork with 180 mm of travel and the SR SUNTOUR EDGE LOR8 rear shock, which is 225 mm long. The pedals are from VP COMPONENTS, whilst the forged aluminium crankset is manufactured by HUSQVARNA. The cassette is a SHIMANO DEORE CS-HG550 model with an 11–42T gear range, complemented by a KMC X10e chain.

The handlebars are HUSQVARNA MTB35 Low Rise model, 780 mm wide with a 20 mm rise, whilst the grips are made from a D2 compound and feature a lock-on function. The stem is 40 mm long and is also made of aluminium. The rims are HQV Edition RYDE DISC35 models measuring 27.5 inches, fitted with SCHWALBE MAGIC MARY tyres in size 27.5x2.6.

The bike is fitted with a powerful SHIMANO STePS DU-E8000 motor with a torque of 70 Nm, powered by a SIMPLO battery with a capacity of 504 Wh. The SHIMANO SC-E7000 LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality for easy control and monitoring of the systems. The saddle is a HUSQVARNA ENDR RDE model, mounted on a HUSQVARNA dropper post, the length of which varies depending on the frame size.
