Husqvarna E-Bicycles Grand Towner 4 FW 2023

The Grand Towner 4 FW 2023 model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a modern e-bike priced at 3,599 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from 28-inch 6061 aluminium alloy, which has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and weighs 26 kg itself. The bike’s braking system consists of Tektro HD-T280 hydraulic disc brakes with two pistons; the front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm, both with Centre Lock mounting.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed gear system, operated via a Shimano Nexus SL-C7000-5 Revoshift gear lever. A comfortable ride is ensured by the SR SUNTOUR NEX-E25 suspension fork with 63 mm of travel. Lighting is provided by a Herrmans MR4 front light with a luminous intensity of 40 lx and 120 lm, as well as an AXA Juno E rear light. The pedals are made of aluminium and are manufactured by Husqvarna, whilst the bottom bracket is also from Husqvarna and features a 38-tooth chainring.

The tyres are Mitas Flash Reflex in sizes 47-559 and 28x1.75 respectively, fitted to Mach 1 630E rims with eyelets. The front hub is a Husqvarna DN618F with Centre Lock and a quick-release axle, whilst the rear hub is the Shimano Nexus SG-C7000. The saddle is a Husqvarna model, fitted to a 31.6 mm Husqvarna seatpost with a quick-release mechanism.

The e-bike is also fitted with Eurofender Tempo mudguards and a Horn Catena 18 chain guard. An Ursus MOOI rear stand ensures stability when parked, whilst the Husqvarna Tour luggage rack with MIK system can carry up to 25 kg. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 75 Nm, powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. Controls are via a Bosch Kiox 300 LED display, and the charger is a Bosch 4A model.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 438 mm, a stack of 678 mm, a seat tube length of 490 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 75 degrees. The head tube length is 200 mm, the chainstay length is 500 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm, the crank length is 170 mm and the wheelbase measures 1219 mm in total. This model combines modern technology and well-thought-out features for a comfortable riding experience.
