Husqvarna E-Bicycles Gran Tourer 5

The 2021 “Gran Tourer 5” model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a versatile e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. The price for this model is 4099 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from a robust 6061 aluminium alloy and has been specially designed for trekking, with the battery seamlessly integrated. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the Gran Tourer 5 provides a solid foundation for a variety of rides.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, model BR-MT410, with 203 mm diameter brake discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Deore XT, RD-M8100, Shadow Plus with 12 speeds, controlled via the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 Rapidfire Plus shift levers. This enables precise and rapid gear changes.

Suspension is provided by an SR Suntour Mobie A32 NLO fork with 75 mm of travel, which ensures added comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a Litemove HKSE-70 front light with a brightness of 70 lux and a Spanninga Commute Glow E rear light, which enhances safety when cycling in the dark.

The Gran Tourer 5 is also fitted with Husqvarna Tour Alloy pedals and a forged aluminium crankset. The Shimano CS-M6100 cassette offers a range of 10–51T across 12 gears, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC e12S chain. The handlebars are 700 mm wide and, with a 9° sweep and a 15 mm rise, provide a comfortable riding position. The stem is adjustable and measures 90 mm.

The rims are Ryde Disc30, tubeless-ready and fitted with eyelets. The tyres are Schwalbe SuperMoto-X, known for their reflective stripes, and come in the size 27.5x2.4 inches. The hubs are also by Husqvarna, complementing the bike’s overall look.

The saddle is a Husqvarna Vivo Moderate, developed by Selle Royal, mounted on a 350 mm seatpost. Eurofender Tempo 65 mudguards protect against splashes, whilst the Ursus MOOI KSA40 kickstand is adjustable. The luggage rack is a Husqvarna Tour Pro with the MIK system, ideal for carrying luggage.

Power is provided by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with 250W and a torque of 85Nm, powered by a Simplo TPS battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. The Shimano SC-E6100 LCD display offers ANT and Bluetooth LE connectivity to provide riders with comprehensive information about their ride.
