Husqvarna E-Bicycles Gran Tourer 5

The "Gran Tourer 5" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a high-performance e-bike equipped with a wide range of technical features. The bike’s frame is made from 27.5” 6061 alloy and features a Skeleton Interface with a fully integrated battery. The 12 x 148 mm Boost standard and the Post Mount 180 brake mount underline the robust construction, which allows for a maximum permissible weight of up to 130 kg. Weighing 25 kg, the Gran Tourer 5 provides a solid foundation for touring and everyday use.

The SHIMANO BR-MT201 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring 2-piston technology and 180 mm SHIMANO SM-RT56 brake discs, ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM NX-11 system with 11 speeds, whilst the SRAM NX Trigger shifter ensures precise gear changes. The SR SUNTOUR MOBIE25 air suspension fork, with 75 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain.

The lighting system comprises the TRELOCK Veo 50 front light with Double Lens Technology and the HERRMANS H-Cargo rear light, both designed for use on e-bikes and compliant with the StVZO. The pedals are from VP COMPONENTS, whilst the forged aluminium crankset is manufactured by HUSQVARNA. The SRAM NX PG-1130 sprocket offers a gear ratio of 11 to 42 teeth, supported by the SRAM PC1110 drivetrain.

The handlebars, also from HUSQVARNA, are 720 mm wide with a 38 mm rise, whilst the ergonomic grips with D2 Compound ensure comfort. The stem is adjustable and made of aluminium, allowing for individual customisation. The headset is an ACROS ZS44/56 with Husqvarna Custom Spec.

The wheelset consists of HQV Edition RYDE RIVAL30 rims and HUSQVARNA Pro Boost hubs, fitted with SCHWALBE SUPER MOTO-X Green Guard tyres. The HUSQVARNA GT-Ergo saddle and aluminium seatpost offer comfort and stability. The mudguards, kickstand and luggage rack are also from HUSQVARNA, with the luggage rack having a load capacity of up to 25 kg.

The e-bike is powered by the SHIMANO STePS DU-E8000 motor with a torque of 70 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is built into the frame, whilst the SHIMANO SC-E6010 LCD display is centrally positioned. Priced at 3999 EUR, the Gran Tourer 5 is aimed at discerning riders who value quality and functionality.
