Husqvarna E-Bicycles Gran Sport 4

The 2021 "Gran Sport 4" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a versatile e-bike designed for trekking enthusiasts. Priced at 3,599 euros, it offers a range of high-quality components and well-thought-out technical features. The frame is made from a robust 6061 alloy construction, specifically developed for trekking, and features a Skeleton Interface as well as an integrated battery. The frame construction supports a maximum permissible weight of up to 130 kg, ensuring stability and reliability.

For braking performance, the Gran Sport 4 is fitted with Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which use a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT26 brake disc at the front. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M6000 Shadow Plus system with 10 speeds, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 Rapidfire Plus shifter. The SR Suntour XCM32 LO fork, with 80 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on a variety of surfaces.

The bike is fitted with aluminium pedals and a crankset from Husqvarna, complemented by a Shimano CS-HG50 sprocket with an 11-36T gear ratio across 11 speeds. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10e chain, which is renowned for its durability. The handlebars are 720 mm wide and feature a 9° sweep and a 38 mm rise, whilst the adjustable stem is 90 mm long.

The wheels consist of Ryde Rival23 rims with eyelets, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in size 27.5x2.25, ensuring good traction and durability. The front and rear hubs have been specially developed by Husqvarna and provide a reliable connection thanks to their 6-bolt mounting.

Comfort is enhanced by the Husqvarna Ergo saddle and the dropper post seatpost. The e-bike is powered by a Shimano STePS DU-E7000 motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 60Nm. The battery, a Shimano BT-E8035 with a capacity of 504Wh, ensures sufficient range for longer rides. The Shimano SC-E7000 LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, so you can keep an eye on the most important ride information at all times. Overall, the Gran Sport 4 is a well-equipped e-bike that is just as suitable for extended trekking tours as it is for everyday use.
