Husqvarna E-Bicycles Gran City 3

The "Gran City 3" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, offers a well-thought-out combination of comfort, performance and functionality, making it ideal for urban use. The e-bike is available at a price of 2,799 EUR and features a robust 26" & 28" 6061 alloy frame, designed in a City Wave shape. The frame is fitted with a seat tube battery mount and supports an Old 135mm IS mount configuration. With a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 24 kg, the Gran City 3 is both stable and light enough for everyday use.

The bike is fitted with SHIMANO BR-MT201 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm CentreLock rotors at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The SHIMANO ALIVIO 9-speed derailleur and the accompanying Rapidfire Plus shifter ensure precise and easy gear selection. The SR SUNTOUR NEX E25 fork with 50 mm of travel offers additional comfort on uneven roads.

Lighting is provided by the AXA Compact Line 35 LED front light with 35 lux and the TRELOCK LS621 Flat LED rear light, both StVZO-certified and specifically designed for e-bikes. The VP COMPONENTS pedals and the HUSQVARNA crankset, made from forged aluminium and measuring 170 mm in length, round off the specification. Power is transmitted via a KMC X9e chain and a SHIMANO CS-HG200 sprocket with a gear ratio of 11-36T.

The bike features a HUSQVARNA handlebar with a width of 680 mm, a rise of 26 mm and a back sweep of 30°, which, in combination with the ergonomic grips and the adjustable stem, ensures a comfortable riding position. The HQV Edition RYDE TL-21 rims are available in 26" and 28" sizes and are fitted with SCHWALBE DELTA CRUISER K-Guard and SCHWALBE Energizer Plus-Guard tyres respectively, which provide good grip and puncture protection.

The HUSQVARNA GC-Ergo saddle and the suspension seat post offer additional comfort on longer rides. Practical features such as mudguards, a height-adjustable kickstand, a luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 25 kg and the CarryMore system make the Gran City 3 a versatile everyday companion.

The e-bike is powered by a SHIMANO STePS DU-E6100 motor with a torque of 60 Nm (50 Nm with 8-speed hub gears). The semi-internal SHIMANO BT-E8010 battery, with a capacity of 504 Wh, ensures a decent range. The central SHIMANO SC-E6100 LCD display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality, allowing you to keep track of all the important information at a glance.
