Husqvarna E-Bicycles Extreme Cross 9

The 2020 "Extreme Cross 9" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a high-performance e-bike designed specifically for downhill riding. The frame is made from robust 27.5-inch 6061 aluminium alloy and is fitted with a fully integrated battery. The fully active 4-bar suspension system offers an impressive 200 mm of travel, whilst the 12 x 148 mm Boost axles provide additional stability. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg, and it has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg.

The Extreme Cross 9’s braking system consists of SRAM G2 RSC hydraulic disc brakes with four pistons and adjustable reach. The 203 mm SRAM G2 CentreLock brake discs ensure reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. Shifting is handled by the SRAM NX-11 11-speed groupset, which is fitted with a SRAM NX Trigger.

Optimal suspension is provided by the ROCK SHOX BoXXer Select RC fork with 200 mm of travel and the ROCK SHOX Super Deluxe Coil Select R shock absorber with 225 mm of travel. Power is transmitted via the SRAM PC1110, whilst the crankset is made from forged aluminium by Husqvarna and measures 160 mm in length. The cassette offers a gear range of 11–42T.

The handlebars are Husqvarna MTB35 Low Rise, 780 mm wide, fitted with ergonomic ERGON GA20 grips. The stem is a direct-mount Husqvarna DH-Mount made of aluminium. The rims are HQV Edition RYDE DISC35 with a diameter of 27.5 inches, fitted with Schwalbe MAGIC MARY tyres in size 27.5x2.6, which provide excellent grip.

The e-bike is powered by a SHIMANO STePS DU-E7000 motor, which delivers a torque of 60 Nm. The SIMPLO battery, with a capacity of 504 Wh, is fully integrated and ensures an efficient power supply. The SHIMANO SC-E7000 LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality for easy operation and monitoring.
