Husqvarna E-Bicycles Extreme Cross 10

The 2021 "Extreme Cross 10" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed specifically for challenging downhill trails. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and, with its 200 mm of suspension travel and the Full Active 4-Link system, offers optimum suspension performance for rough terrain. The bike seamlessly integrates a battery into the frame design and has a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg, with a kerb weight of 25 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Magura hydraulic disc brakes – the MT5 eSTOP with four pistons – combined with a large 203 mm Magura MDR-P front brake disc. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano Saint RD-M820 Shadow Plus and offers ten gears, operated via the Shimano Saint SL-M820 Rapidfire Plus shift levers. Front suspension is provided by the FOX Float 40 Factory fork with 203 mm of travel, whilst the rear shock is a FOX DHX2 Factory model, which ensures additional stability.

The bike is fitted with Husqvarna Alloy pedals and a forged aluminium crankset with a length of 160 mm. The Shimano cassette (CS-HG50) offers a 11-36T gear range across ten speeds, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain. The handlebars are 780 mm wide and have a 9° sweep and a 20 mm rise. Comfort and control are ensured by the Husqvarna MTB Lock-On grips.

The stem is 52 mm long with a 15° angle, and the headset is a ZS44/28.6 / ZS56/39.8. The tyres are Schwalbe Magic Mary Super Gravity Tubeless in size 27.5x2.60, fitted to DT Swiss FR 1950 CLASSIC wheelsets, which are also tubeless-compatible. The saddle is a Husqvarna MTB model, fitted to a King Shock E20i dropper post, the length of which varies depending on frame size.

The Extreme Cross 10 is powered by a Shimano EP8 motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. Power is supplied by a Simplo TPS battery with a capacity of 630 Wh (36V, 17.5Ah). The Shimano SC-EM800 LED display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing ride data to be efficiently displayed and managed.
