Husqvarna E-Bicycles Extreme Cross 10

The 2020 "Extreme Cross 10" from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed specifically for challenging downhill rides. Priced at 7,699 EUR, it offers high-quality components and advanced technology. The frame consists of a robust 27.5" 6061 alloy construction with a fully integrated battery and a Full Active 4-Link system, which provides 200 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

The braking system comprises SHIMANO SAINT BR-MT820 4-piston brakes with ServoWave and Reach Adjust, complemented by front and rear brake discs from the SHIMANO Deore XT series, which ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by a SHIMANO SAINT 10-speed groupset with Shadow Plus technology and Rapidfire Plus shifters, which enable precise gear changes.

For suspension, the bike is fitted with a FOX 40 FLOAT Factory Series fork with 200 mm of travel and a FOX DHX2 Factory Series shock absorber, which offers optimum damping on rough terrain. The pedals are from VP COMPONENTS, whilst the crankset features a robust HUSQVARNA Forged Alloy construction with a length of 160 mm.

The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC X10e chain, and the cassette is a SHIMANO SLX CS-M771 with an 11–36T range. The HUSQVARNA handlebars are 780 mm wide and offer a comfortable grip thanks to the ERGON GA20 ergonomic mountain bike grips. The stem is a direct-mount HUSQVARNA DH Alloy model with a length of 52 mm.

The tyres are SCHWALBE MAGIC MARY Performance tyres in size 27.5x2.6, fitted to DT SWISS FR1950 Classic rims, which are tubeless-compatible. The saddle is the HUSQVARNA ENDR RDE model, supported by a KINDSHOK E20i dropper post.

At the heart of the drivetrain is the SHIMANO STePS DU-E8000 motor with a torque of 70 Nm, paired with an internal SIMPLO battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. The SHIMANO SC-E8000 colour LCD display offers ANT+ and Bluetooth functionality for comprehensive control and monitoring of the bike.
