Husqvarna E-Bicycles Explorer E2 2023

The “Explorer E2 2023” model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a versatile e-bike suitable for a wide range of uses. Priced at 3,999 EUR, it combines a robust design with high-performance features. The bike’s frame is made from a high-quality aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and seamlessly integrates the battery, giving it a clean, uncluttered appearance. With a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 26 kg, the bike is both stable and durable.

The braking system consists of Tektro HD-T390 hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston calipers, fitted with 180 mm Tektro TR45A brake discs at both the front and rear. These ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. Gear changes are handled by Shimano Deore components, including the RD-M5100 Shadow Plus front derailleur and the SL-M5100 Rapidfire Plus shift lever, which enable precise and rapid gear changes.

The SR SUNTOUR Mobie25 LOR suspension fork, with 75 mm of travel, offers comfort and control on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR4 front light, with 40 lux and 120 lumens, and the AXA Juno E rear light, which ensure visibility and safety on the road.

The Explorer E2 is powered by the Bosch Performance Line motor with 250 W of power and a torque of 75 Nm, whilst the Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, provides sufficient energy for longer rides. The handlebars are a Husqvarna Ergo model with ergonomic screw-on grips, whilst the stem is adjustable to maximise individual comfort. The tyres are Reflex models in size 27.5x2.1, fitted to Mach 1 630E rims with eyelets.

The bike is also equipped with practical components such as a Husqvarna Tour luggage rack, which can carry up to 25 kg, Eurofender Tempo mudguards and an adjustable Ursus MOOI rear stand. These features make the Explorer E2 an ideal companion for both everyday use and longer tours.
