Husqvarna E-Bicycles Eco City 4 NL

The "Eco City 4 NL" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a versatile e-bike that is ideal for urban use. Priced at 2749 EUR, it offers a solid specification that ensures both comfort and functionality. The frame is a 26/28" 6061 alloy City Wave design, fitted with a compact interface and a post mount for 160 mm brakes. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by TEKTRO HD-T275 hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston calipers. The brake discs are made of stainless steel and measure 180 mm in diameter at both the front and rear. The gear system is a SHIMANO NEXUS SG-C6001-8D with 8 speeds, controlled via a SHIMANO NEXUS SL-C6000-8 Revo shifter. The SR SUNTOUR NEX E25 fork offers 50 mm of travel to absorb bumps in the road.

The lighting comprises a HERRMANS MR-GO front light and a HERRMANS H-Trace rear light, both specifically designed for e-bikes and StVZO-approved. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1wide EPT chain set, whilst the crankset and handlebars are made from a robust aluminium alloy by HUSQVARNA. The handlebars are 680 mm wide and have a 26 mm rise.

The rims are MACH1 MC40-E-BLK models in 28-inch (622x25C), fitted with CONTINENTAL Ride City tyres featuring PunctureProTection. The front hub is a HUSQVARNA aluminium quick-release hub, whilst the rear hub is a SHIMANO NEXUS SG-C6001-8D 8-speed hub.

The saddle is a comfortable HUSQVARNA City model, mounted on a 350 mm long aluminium seat post. Other practical features include a height-adjustable kickstand, a sturdy luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 25 kg, and mudguards in a simple black finish.

The Eco City 4 NL’s motor is a SHIMANO STePS KDUE5000 with a torque of 40 Nm, which is powered by a SHIMANO BT-E8010 battery. The battery has a capacity of 504 Wh (36V / 14Ah) and is semi-internally integrated into the frame. The SHIMANO SC-E6100 central display provides a clear readout of ride data and supports ANT+ and Bluetooth functions. This combination of high-quality components makes the Eco City 4 NL a reliable companion for everyday urban life.
