Husqvarna E-Bicycles Cross Tourer 7-FS

The 2021 “Cross Tourer 7-FS” from Husqvarna E-Bicycles is a versatile e-bike designed for both trekking adventures and everyday use. Priced at 5,399 euros, this model is positioned in the upper mid-range and offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical features. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061) and features a Full Active 4-Link suspension system with 100 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride. The integrated battery ensures a clean design and a low centre of gravity, which improves the bike’s handling.

The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg. Safety is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT410) with 180 mm brake discs at the front and rear. The gear system is a Shimano Deore XT, RD-M8100, Shadow Plus with 12 speeds, which enables precise and responsive gear changes. The shifter is a Shimano Deore, SL-M6100 Rapidfire Plus, also with 12 speeds.

The SR Suntour Raidon34 LOR air suspension fork and the SR Suntour Edge LOR rear shock provide smooth suspension and contribute to a comfortable ride. Visibility is ensured by the Litemove HKSE-70 front light with 70 lux and the Supernova M99-TL2 rear light. The pedals are made from a durable aluminium alloy and are manufactured by Husqvarna.

The drive system is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with 250 watts and a torque of 85 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 630 Wh, providing sufficient power for extended rides. The display is a Shimano SC-E6100 LCD display, which supports both ANT and Bluetooth Low Energy (BT-LE).

The bike features a Husqvarna 31.8 handlebar with a width of 700 mm and ergonomic grips for added comfort. The stem is adjustable, allowing for individual customisation of the riding position. The Ryde Disc26 rims are tubeless-compatible and fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, which are suitable for a variety of surfaces.

The saddle is a Husqvarna Vivo Moderate by Selle Royal, mounted on a Husqvarna dropper post. Practical features such as Wingee Alloy mudguards, an adjustable kickstand and a luggage rack with the Racktime system round off the Cross Tourer 7-FS’s specification, making it an ideal companion for a wide range of uses.
