Husqvarna E-Bicycles Cross Tourer 5

The "Cross Tourer 5" model from Husqvarna E-Bicycles, launched in 2020, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. The frame is made from 27.5" 6061 alloy with a fully integrated battery, supporting a maximum permissible weight of up to 130 kg. The bike itself weighs 24 kg and is available for €3,599.

Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO BR-MT201 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM NX-11 system with 11 speeds, controlled via the SRAM NX Trigger shifter. The SR SUNTOUR MOBIE25 fork, with 75 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride across a variety of terrains.

The lighting system comprises a TRELOCK Veo 50 front light with 50 lux and a TRELOCK LS621 Flat rear light, both designed for e-bike use and compliant with the StVZO. Power is provided by the SHIMANO STePS DU-E7000 motor with a torque of 60 Nm, supported by a SIMPLO 504Wh battery. The system is controlled via the SHIMANO SC-E6100 LCD Central Display, which is equipped with ANT+ and Bluetooth functions.

The handlebars are a HUSQVARNA Low Rise model with ergonomic grips, whilst the stem is adjustable within a range of -40° to +40°. The wheels are fitted with SCHWALBE SMART SAM tyres mounted on HQV Edition RYDE RIVAL23 rims. The wheelset is complemented by HUSQVARNA hubs, which are in the Pro Boost format at the front and the Comp Boost format at the rear.

Other features include a HUSQVARNA CT Ergo saddle, an adjustable seatpost, anodised aluminium mudguards, a height-adjustable kickstand and a luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 25 kg in the CarryMore system. This combination of technical sophistication and practical features makes the Cross Tourer 5 an ideal companion for touring and everyday cycling.
