HoheAcht SENTO ROKO

The “SENTO ROKO” model from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 3,899 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. It offers a combination of robust design and high-performance features, making it suitable for both city riding and more challenging off-road terrain. With a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 23 kg, the bike is stable yet manoeuvrable.

The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (front: BR-MT200, rear: BR-MT200) ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The steel brake levers (Shimano, BL-MT200) with a 3-finger design offer good control. Both front and rear brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and use the Centre Lock system for easy fitting.

For gear changes, the SENTO ROKO is fitted with a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed derailleur, controlled by the SL-SX1-PA-A1 trigger shifter. This enables precise gear changes and a wide gear range thanks to the SRAM Eagle cassette with 11–50 teeth.

The SR Suntour XCR32 Boost-AIR suspension fork, with 120 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain. The bike is lit by the M-WAVE Atlas K 50 battery-powered light set, which is fitted with high-performance LEDs at both the front (42 lm) and rear (6 lm).

Power is provided by the Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor with 85 Nm of torque, which offers assistance up to 25 km/h. The integrated Shimano Steps battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh, ensures long-lasting performance. The Shimano Steps SC-E7000 display, featuring Bluetooth and ANT Private, allows for easy control and monitoring of ride data.

The bike features a sturdy aluminium frame with a seat tube length of 460 mm and a top tube length of 640 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 74 degrees, contributing to a well-balanced geometry. The 460 mm chainstay length and 1206 mm wheelbase offer stability and agility.

Further features include the 27.5-inch Mach1 Trucky 30 aluminium rims, fitted with Continental Mountain King Wire tyres, which are mounted in different sizes (29'' x 2.3'' at the front and 27.5'' x 2.3'' at the rear). The hubs feature industrial-grade bearings and are designed to the Boost standard, ensuring additional stability.

The spec is rounded off by the Selle Royal New Lookin Ath Plus saddle, a Kalloy seatpost, and the ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock for added security. An AtranVelo Rex HV kickstand ensures the bike stands securely when not in use. With these well-thought-out features, the SENTO ROKO is a reliable companion for a wide range of uses.
