HoheAcht SENTO MONTO

The SENTO MONTO by HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike priced at 4,899 EUR, placing it in the upper mid-range. The frame is made of robust aluminium, which gives the bike a high degree of stability and allows for a maximum load capacity of up to 130 kg. The braking system comprises SRAM hydraulic disc brakes with four-piston technology on both the front and rear wheels, complemented by 180 mm brake discs mounted via the IS 6-hole system. These provide reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions.

Gear changes are handled by SRAM’s 12-speed NX Eagle system, which enables precise gear changes. The shift lever is also from the NX Eagle series and ensures intuitive operation. The RockShox Judy Gold RL suspension fork, with 120 mm of travel, provides comfortable damping on uneven terrain.

The Sate-lite lighting set is fitted, comprising a front light with up to 50 LUX and a rear light offering 220° visibility. The pedals are made of aluminium and are from Marwi, whilst the crankset from Shimano Steps is fitted with a 36-tooth chainring. The SRAM cassette offers a range of 11–50 teeth, which, in combination with the YBN S12e S2 chain, ensures efficient power transfer.

The aluminium handlebars from Kalloy – HoheAcht are 720 mm wide and feature a comfortable bend and rise, whilst the grips from Velo Plastic provide additional comfort. The stem is also from Kalloy – HoheAcht and has a length of 60 mm. The ACROS headset features industrial-grade bearings and ensures precise steering.

The wheels are of different sizes: a 29'' Sunringlé Düroc SD37 Expert at the front and a 27.5'' model at the rear, both made of aluminium and tubeless-ready (TLR). The Schwalbe tyres – Nobby Nic at the front and Rocket Ron at the rear – offer optimum grip on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are also by Sunringlé and comply with the Boost standard.

The Prologo Proxim W350 saddle offers comfort on longer rides, supported by the Limotec A1 Dropper Post seatpost with 125 mm of travel. An ABUS lock provides additional security. The e-bike is powered by a Shimano Steps DU-EP801 mid-drive motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using a Shimano Steps EC-E8004 charger. The Shimano Steps SC-EN600 display offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity for controlling and monitoring the systems. In summary, the SENTO MONTO offers a well-thought-out range of features for discerning riders who value quality and performance.
