HoheAcht PASIO URBO

The PASIO URBO from HoheAcht, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike that impresses with a wide range of technical features and high-quality specifications. The aluminium frame has a maximum load capacity of up to 150 kg, making it a robust companion for urban use. The model is priced at 4299 EUR.

Safety is ensured by a Shimano hydraulic disc brake system, comprising the VR BR-MT200 and HR BR-MT200 models, which are fitted with 180 mm brake discs at the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano and, with their 3-finger steel construction, offer reliable operation. The gear system is a 5-speed Shimano Steps in-hub gearbox, developed specifically for e-bikes, and is operated via the Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever.

The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven roads. The bike is lit by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light and the Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light, both of which are designed for e-bikes and feature parking light functions. Power is transmitted via a Gates belt, which is renowned for its durability and ease of maintenance.

The PASIO URBO is fitted with a crankset comprising a 39-tooth chainring from Gates, whilst the rear sprocket has 28 teeth. The handlebars and stem are made of aluminium and offer ergonomic adjustment with an angle range of 0 to 60 degrees. The rims are by Mach1 and measure 27.5 inches, whilst the tyres – Continental CONTACT Cruiser – ensure good road holding.

The saddle is the Essenza Plus model from Selle Royal, designed specifically for male riders, and is complemented by an aluminium seatpost. Powder-coated aluminium mudguards and a sturdy Ursus kickstand complete the specification. An integrated ABUS lock provides additional protection against theft.

Power is provided by a Shimano Steps DU-EP600 mid-drive motor with a torque of 85 Nm and assistance up to 25 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is seamlessly integrated into the frame. The accompanying display offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity, whilst the charger provides an output of 42 V DC at 4–4.6 A. The PASIO URBO is therefore a well-designed e-bike that combines comfort, safety and performance in an attractive package.
