HoheAcht PASIO URBO

The "PASIO URBO" model from HoheAcht, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. It is available at a price of 4099 EUR and offers a maximum load capacity of 150 kg with a kerb weight of 26 kg.

The bike is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with the BR-MT200 model fitted at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano and are made of steel with a 3-finger design. The brake discs, with a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear, are mounted via Centre Lock, with the SM-RT30 model used at the front and the RT-EM300 model at the rear.

Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Steps Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed in-hub gear system with a freewheel, operated via a Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 gear lever. The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork offers 100 mm of travel and ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces.

The PASIO URBO’s lighting system comprises a Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light with an output of 3.3 watts and a brightness of 180 lumens, as well as a Herrmans H-Cargo rear light with an integrated parking light. Both lights are designed for use on e-bikes and operate within a voltage range of 6–12 V.

Power is transmitted via a Gates belt, complemented by a 39-tooth chainring and a 28-tooth pulley. The motor is a powerful Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h and delivers a torque of 85 Nm. The battery, with a capacity of 630 Wh, is seamlessly integrated into the frame and can be charged using the Shimano Steps EC-E6002 charger.

The bike features a sturdy aluminium frame with a reach of 447 mm, a stack of 652 mm and other specific geometry details such as a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The wheels are fitted with Mach1 Trucky 30 rims and Continental CONTACT Cruiser tyres in the size 27.5'' x 2.4'', which ensure good road holding.

Other features include a Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle, mudguards from SKS, an AtranVelo luggage rack with a load capacity of 27 kg, and an ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock for added security. The handlebars and stem are made of aluminium and offer comfortable ergonomics for the rider. Overall, the PASIO URBO is a well-thought-out choice for urban use, offering both comfort and performance.
