HoheAcht PASIO STRATO

The 2023 HoheAcht PASIO STRATO model is an impressive e-bike that stands out thanks to its well-designed features and high-quality components. Priced at 4,199 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made of robust aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 150 kg, ensuring stability and durability.

The braking system is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes; both the front and rear brakes are the BR-MT200 model. The brake levers are made of steel and, with their 3-finger design, offer good control. The brake discs each measure 180 mm and are secured using the Centre Lock system.

Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Steps Nexus SG-C7000, featuring a 5-speed hub gear system and freewheel. The gear lever is also from Shimano and allows for easy operation of the five gears. The rigid fork from HoheAcht is also made of aluminium and contributes to the bike’s light weight.

The lighting system consists of a Lezyne E-Bike Hecto StVZO E65 front light with an output of 210 lumens and a Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, which features a parking light. Both lights are optimised for use with e-bikes.

Power is transmitted via a Gates belt, which is renowned for its low maintenance and durability. The crankset comprises a 39-tooth chainring, also from Gates. The rear sprocket has 28 teeth, enabling efficient power transfer.

The handlebars and stem are by Kalloy – HoheAcht, both made of aluminium and finished in black. The ergonomic grips from Herrmans ensure comfort on longer rides. The rims are Mach1 Trucky 30, measuring 27.5 inches, fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto tyres, which are renowned for their excellent grip and stability.

The Selle Royal saddle offers comfort and the seat post is made of aluminium. Practical features such as the powder-coated aluminium mudguards, a sturdy Ursus kickstand and an ABUS lock round off the specification. The AtranVelo luggage rack can carry up to 27 kg and is ideal for transporting shopping or luggage.

The motor, a Shimano Steps DU-EP600 mid-drive motor, delivers up to 85 Nm of torque and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The integrated battery has a capacity of 504 Wh, providing sufficient power for long rides. The accompanying charger ensures quick and easy recharging of the battery. The Shimano Steps display offers modern features such as Bluetooth connectivity to further enhance riding comfort.
