HoheAcht PASIO STRATO

The PASIO STRATO model from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is an e-bike priced at 4,299 EUR. It combines a robust design with powerful technology and high-quality components. With a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg and a kerb weight of 25 kg, it is suitable for a wide range of users.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, model BR-MT200, fitted with 180 mm Centre Lock brake discs at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano and are made of steel with a 3-finger design. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Steps Nexus SG-C7000 5-speed hub gear system with a freewheel, whilst the gear lever is the Nexus SL-C7000 model.

The rigid fork is from HoheAcht, and lighting is provided by Herrmans LED lights, which deliver 180 lumens at the front and feature an integrated parking light at the rear. Power is transmitted via a Gates belt, which offers a durable and low-maintenance solution. The crankset consists of a Gates chainring with 39 teeth, complemented by a Shimano Steps crank arm set.

The bike is fitted with Kalloy-HoheAcht handlebars, which are 640 mm wide and bent at an angle of 25°. The stem is also from Kalloy-HoheAcht and offers an adjustment range of 0–60°. The rims are aluminium from Mach1, combined with Schwalbe Super Moto tyres in the size 27.5'' x 2.4''. The front hub is by Formula and the rear by Shimano Nexus, both fitted with industrial-grade bearings.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus model, mounted on a Kalloy-HoheAcht seatpost. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards and an AtranVelo kickstand. An ABUS lock ensures security, whilst the AtranVelo luggage rack can carry a load of up to 27 kg.

Power is provided by a Shimano Steps DU-EP8 mid-drive motor with assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using a 2 A Shimano Steps charger. The display is a Shimano Steps SC-E7000 model, which offers Bluetooth and ANT Private connectivity.

The PASIO STRATO’s geometry comprises a reach of 387 mm, a stack of 652 mm, a seat tube length of 460 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 150 mm, a chainstay length of 475 mm, a wheelbase of 1124 mm and a bottom bracket height of 295 mm. These specifications make the PASIO STRATO a well-designed e-bike for both urban use and longer rides.
