HoheAcht PASIO EKO TERRA

The PASIO EKO TERRA model from HoheAcht, launched in 2022, is an e-bike renowned for its robust build and high-quality components. Priced at 3,499 euros, it offers a wide range of features suitable for both everyday use and longer rides. The maximum permissible weight is 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg.

The PASIO EKO TERRA’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – the VR BR-MT200 and HR BR-MT200 models – which ensure reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Shimano – the BL-MT200 model – and offer good ergonomics thanks to their 3-finger design. Brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm are fitted at the front and rear, mounted via the Centre Lock system.

A 12-speed Shimano Deore derailleur is used for gear changes, operated via the SL-M6100 shifter. The SR Suntour XCM32 suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by Herrmans components: the H-Black MR8 front light delivers 180 lumens, whilst the H-Cargo rear light is fitted with a parking light function.

The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-880 SBL Black pedals and a crankset comprising a Shimano Steps SM-CRE80 chainring with 36 teeth. The cassette is an SRAM Eagle CS-PG-1210 with a range of 11 to 50 teeth. Power is transmitted via an SRAM SX Eagle 12S chain.

The handlebars and stem are from Kalloy – HoheAcht, both made of aluminium and finished in black. The handlebars are 640 mm wide with a 25° bend, whilst the stem offers an adjustable angle between 0 and 60°. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus, mounted on a Kalloy – HoheAcht seatpost.

The wheels consist of Mach1 Trucky 30 rims with Continental eCONTACT Plus tyres in the size 27.5'' x 2.5''. The hubs feature industrial-grade bearings and are from Formula, matching the Mach1 stainless steel spokes.

Additional features include mudguards from SKS, an AtranVelo Rex HV kickstand, an ABUS BLO SHI IT2 XPlus lock and a luggage rack from AtranVelo with a maximum load capacity of 27 kg.

The PASIO EKO TERRA is powered by a Shimano Steps DU-E6100 mid-drive motor, providing assistance up to 25 km/h and a torque of 60 Nm. The integrated battery has a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged using the Shimano Steps EC-E6002 charger. The display for controlling the electric assistance is the Shimano Steps SC-E5000.

In terms of geometry, the bike features a seat tube length of 580 mm, a top tube length of 660 mm, a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The wheelbase is 1204 mm and the bottom bracket height is 295 mm. These dimensions ensure balanced riding dynamics, enabling both sporty and comfortable riding.
