HoheAcht Mola Terra Kastanie

The "Mola Terra Kastanie" model from HoheAcht, released in 2021, is a modern e-bike that stands out for its high-quality components and robust construction. The aluminium full-suspension SUV frame provides a stable base for challenging rides and ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. Priced at 4299 EUR, the bike is positioned in the premium segment and offers a wide range of technical features.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 2-piston brakes at both the front and rear, which ensure reliable stopping power. The drivetrain is complemented by a Shimano Deore 10-speed system, which, in combination with the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shifter, enables precise gear changes. Lighting is provided at the front by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 180 lumens and at the rear by the Herrmans H-Cargo e-bike rear light with an integrated reflector.

The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-160 pedals and a Shimano Steps FC-EM600 crankset, which, with its 34-tooth chainring, is optimally matched to the Shimano Steps EP8 motor. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10 EPT chain, which works in harmony with the Shimano Deore CS-M4100 cassette featuring 11–42 teeth. The handlebars are made from H8 aluminium, measure 720 mm in width and are fitted with Ergon GE10 Evo grips, which provide additional comfort.

The H8 aluminium stem is 60 mm long and has an angle of ± 7°, whilst the Acros headset features industrial-grade bearings and ensures smooth steering. The 27.5” Mach1 Trucky 30 rims are fitted with Continental Ruban tyres, which contribute to safety thanks to their reflective properties. The Formula Disc hubs are robust and, thanks to the Centre Lock system, ensure secure mounting of the disc brakes.

Riding comfort is ensured by the Selle Royal Essenza Plus saddle, mounted on an H8 aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. Practical features such as the black SKS A 69 R mudguards, the Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand and the Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack, with a load capacity of up to 27 kg, round off the overall package.

The Mola Terra Chestnut is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, supported by a 500 Wh battery that offers sufficient capacity for longer rides. This e-bike combines technical sophistication with well-thought-out features, making it ideal for riders who value quality and functionality.
