HoheAcht Mola Tereno Kastanie

The “Mola Tereno Kastanie” model from HoheAcht, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust construction. Priced at 4999 EUR, it offers a combination of performance and comfort that is ideal for discerning cyclists. The aluminium frame is designed as a full-suspension SUV, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano SM-RT64 brakes at the front and Shimano RT-EM600 brakes at the rear, both featuring 180 mm brake discs and Centre Lock mounting. The integrated speed sensor in the rear brake offers additional safety. Gear shifting is handled by the Shimano Deore XT Di2, an 11-speed electronic gear system, operated via the Shimano Steps SW-E7000 shifter.

For optimum visibility, the e-bike is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light, which operates at 6–12 V and provides 180 lumens of brightness. The cassette is a Shimano SLX CS-M7000, also 11-speed, with a range of 11–46 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e11 EPT chain. The H8 aluminium handlebars measure 31.8 mm in diameter and 720 mm in width, whilst the Ergon GE10 Evo grips provide additional comfort. The stem is also made from H8 aluminium and has a length of 60 mm with an angle of ± 7°. The headset features industrial-grade bearings from Acros.

The rims are DT Swiss H 1900 Spline, 27.5” in size, fitted with Schwalbe Hurricane Performance tyres in size 57-584 and featuring reflective strips for improved visibility. The hubs are DT Swiss 370 models, measuring 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear, both with Centre Lock. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus model, mounted on an H8 aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm.

The e-bike is also fitted with SKS A 69 R mudguards in black, a 40 mm Atran Velo Rex HV kickstand and an Atran Velo Tour 365 H-Cargo luggage rack, which can carry a payload of up to 27 kg. The drive is powered by a high-performance Shimano EP8 motor with a torque of 85 Nm, whilst the battery offers a capacity of 500 Wh.
